I didn’t post anything in July because I’m scared of all the noisy sky flashes and the many people around. I did make a couple visits to the library and found out there are some exciting programs coming up this fall. If you enjoy children’s picture books then you may have heard of a guy named David McPhail. He wrote and illustrated Pigs a Plenty, Pigs Galore! The Party, Mole Music, The Puddle, Pigs Ahoy and his newest book Truffle all available at Ossipee Library. He will be visiting the Ossipee Library on September 25th at 3:30pm. If you have a David McPhail book and would like signed, please bring it! Since I’m not so great around a lot of people, David agreed to meet me after the event for a walk in the woods. Speaking of a walk in the woods, the next book discussion book is A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson. I loved this book because it just goes to show that not everyone is cut out for the sasquatch way of life. But sometimes, it’s good to get out of your comfort zone to see all the beauty that is nature.
