Many sasquatches in the Northeast like to start April out on the right bigfoot by celebrating kindness and community. When visiting our local libraries, we sasquatches like to let the librarians know we appreciate them for providing reading materials, garden buckets, seeds, telescopes, and now discs for disc golf! I don’t want to give away my location because sasquatches are very private but I live close to a park. What better way to celebrate community than a fun round of disc golf with my friend squatches. National Library Week happens to be starting on April 19th through 25th. Since sasquatches can’t attend the many amazing programs and events, this is your chance to celebrate community and kindness by visiting the library and participating in library programs. The Ossipee Library will be hosting the Navigating the Library Website program on Tuesday, April 21st at 2:00pm which is geared toward adults wanting to learn about placing holds, finding library services, and library programs. For children 6-12 and their caregivers, join Ms. Frizzle for Story Book Bingo. Prizes and goodies provided. Don’t forget to pick up a copy of their monthly book discussion book. Joining book discussion is just another way to enjoy the library community. Oh! And remember to tell the librarians that the Ossipee Sasquatch sent ya!
