Bigfoot's Blog

In May, Sasquatches celebrate Mom Sasquatch Day. Be sure to celebrate all mom sasquatch figures this month! I want to give my mom squatch something special so I will take her to the Ossipee Public Library for a free library card. It will be the perfect Mom Sasquatch Day gift! You can take someone you know to the library for a free library card, too! They don’t have to be a mom sasquatch. Just the other day I got one of the best surprises a sasquatch could ask for! It was a bunch of hand-colored pictures of mini sasquatches sent by a group of mini sasquatches from the Hampton, NH area! I was thrilled to receive them. It reminds me that I have mini sasquatch fans out there who are the best at making a sasquatch like me feel loved. Since I can’t visit and read a story to my mini sasquatches, I will make a suggestion for their teacher to read to them. My favorite mini sasquatch story is Elwood Bigfoot by Jill Esbaum. It’s about a bigfoot, like me, who is looking for friends. At first all the forest creatures are scared of Elwood Bigfoot but he comes up with a great idea. You have to read it to find out more. Be sure to stop by the Ossipee Public Library and tell them the Ossipee Sasquatch sent ya! Have a squatchy day!
