Getting Started with AI: Practical Uses, Live Demos, and Real Questions

AI is suddenly everywhere, but many people are still unsure how to use it or when to trust it. In this interactive, practical session, Bill Gassman will demonstrate tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini and show how they can help with everyday tasks like writing, planning, research, organizing information, and brainstorming.

The program will include live demos, open discussion, and plain-language guidance on what AI does well, where it falls short, and when human judgment still matters. No technical background is needed. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions or real problems they would like to explore. A phone, tablet, or laptop, with access to an AI tool is optional.

Bill Gassman is a Moultonborough resident, retired IT professional, and community volunteer who helps local groups understand and use new technologies in practical ways.
